- Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read? The Evening Standard
- What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why? The headline on the front page to see what is the latest top stories.
- What sections do you never read, and why? I never read the section that talks about celebrities because it is often gossip and I personally think its a waste of time.
- What kinds of stories do you usually read and why? I read stories in the business section of what is going on in the business world as I have a huge interest in business and I am doing A level business so I keep myself updated with what is going on in the business world.
- Do you, or someone else, buy the newspaper you read? No.
- Do you look at the online versions of any newspapers? Which newspapers? Why do you visit their website and not others? Yes I occasionally look at the online version of The Evening Standard. The reason I visit their page is because they often have a professional point of view to latest news than others.
Magazines
- What magazines (if any) do you buy regularly? Why? I don't buy magazines because magazines are often about British Tv Drama such as Eastenders and I don't have a interest in British Tv Drama's therefore I don't buy magazines.
- What sections of the magazines do you read and not read, and why? The reason I don't read magazines is because it is often about things I have no interest in.
Television
- Approximately how many hours a week do you spend watching television? Approximately 1 hour.
- What times of day do you usually watch television? I usually watch television during the night.
- What programmes do you like best and why? I like documentaries because they are about real life scenarios.
- Do you watch alone or with others? If you watch with others, who decides what you will watch? Sometimes I watch television alone however sometimes I watch it with others as well. When I watch it with others, who ever has the best recommendation of what to watch gets their choice chosen.
- Do you watch 'live' TV or on-demand/catch-up? Do you use any other devices to watch TV (such as laptop or tablet?) I used to watch 'live' TV but nowadays I often watch TV on demand because I can choose when I want to watch it.
Radio
- Do you listen to the radio? Occasionally
- If yes, what stations do you like best and why? Capital FM because it has the music I enjoy listening to.

- What times of the day do you usually listen to the radio? Afternoon

- What other activities (if any) do you do whilst listening to the radio? I don't do activities while listening to the radio.

Cinema
- What films have you seen in the cinema in the last month? Recently, in cinema I have watched The First Purge
- What films have you seen in other places – for example, through Netflix, Amazon Prime, satellite/cable film channels (free or otherwise) or streaming? I have seen films such as Logan through online streaming.

- Who decided what films to watch? We all agreed on one film to watch.
- What devices do you typically use to watch films: TV, laptop, tablet, phone etc.? I typically use the TV to watch films however I occasionally watch films on TV.
Online
- How often do you access the internet? Everyday
- Where do you access the internet? At home, at college or school, or at work? I access the internet at home and at school.
- What are the main sites that you access? The main sites that I access is Instagram and Youtube
- What are the main reasons for accessing these sites – for example, for information, to make purchases, communicate with friends or for entertainment? The main reasons for accessing Instagram is to keep up with what is going on in the world, keep myself updated with whats going on with my friends. I use Youtube for entertainment purposes.
- What other activities (if any) do you do whilst accessing the internet? Listen to music.
- What different devices do you use to access the internet? What is your primary device for accessing the internet? My primary device for accessing the internet is my phone. This is because my phone is with me most of the time and it isn't as big and heavy as a laptop so it's easier to carry with me.
- What social networks do you use regularly (e.g. Twitter, Instagram)? Why do you belong to these networks in particular? I regularly use Instagram and Snapchat. This is because I can share what I do and places I visit and I can also see what my friends are up too.
Reflection
- How can you develop the amount and variety of media you consume? Instead of following one page, follow a variety of page so everyone's view on a topic is shared.
- What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media? Make sure I am not too attached with my phone so I can stop getting distracted by my phone and focus more on my work.
- List three sources of media (websites/newspapers/apps/TV programmes etc.) that you will start to access this year that you haven't engaged with previously. A newspaper I will start reading is The Evening Standard. A app that I will start using will be UBER. Another app I might start using is twitter.
